To meet the demands of the 21st century and as part of their continuing program to support the education sector, the Local Government of Vintar (LGU) purchased Document Camera Visualizers for all schools in the municipality.

Mayor Larissa C. Foronda led the distribution of the camera visualizers to school heads and assigned school representatives, January 7. About P940 thousand pesos from the town’s Special Education Fund was used to purchase 114 cameras distributed to 39 schools; 58 units to schools in Vintar I, and 56 units in schools in Vintar 2.

The cameras, AverVision U50 5.0 megapixel boasts of an auto focus lens up to 25-30 FPS Live Video Capture, which can be used to project materials such as textbooks and other visual aids, shoot clear pictures and videos.

Mayor Foronda believes that the camera will serve as an important tool for teachers in improving and enhancing their lessons for better teaching and learning.

“This is a great help to teachers and is aligned with the 5-Point agenda of the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Joann A. Corpuz which is escalating ICT integration”, Mr. Leonilo A. Reginaldo, former public schools district supervisor said.
