Who We Are

The Schools Division of Ilocos Norte (SDOIN) traces its beginnings in the 1960s and has been under leaders who have catapulted it to the educational forefront. It prides itself of local and national accomplishments and supports its human resources to be ethical, academically and technically competent, socially and environmentally receptive and responsive.

SDOIN is a premiere center of Senior High School graduates who are ethical, innovative, socially responsive entrepreneurial environmentalists and Elementary graduates who are value-laden, creative, socially aware young environmentalists.

The Schools Division of Ilocos Norte (SDOIN) has made its own mark as one of the performing divisions in Region I in terms of whole brain literacy system and ICT integration and it continues to strive as premiere center of holistically-formed individual. It also provides educational opportunity for ALL to make the content of education more accessible, relevant and liberating. Because of its advocacy to adhere to the goals of Education for All,  the Millennial Development Goals of the province and the Five-Point Agenda of the Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Joann A. Corpuz, CESO VI, SDOIN is steadfast to offer, implement and deliver quality basic education which addresses individual needs and gives Ilocano learners a chance to grow, from value-laden to ethical, from creative to innovative and from socially aware young environmentalist to socially responsible entrepreneurial environmentalists especially this time of COVID-19 pandemic.

The Schools Division of Ilocos Norte is committed to quality education. It has laid down the organization’s quality policy and has included quality as a pillar and strategy.
