𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Championing a culture of proactive safety and climate resilience, the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 successfully convened for their 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) remains a cornerstone of our educational mission, serving as the ultimate shield that protects our learners, teachers, and school communities from unexpected hazards while ensuring that learning never stops. This gathering provided an excellent platform for coordinators from various divisions across the region to sync their strategies, share localized solutions, and elevate the standard of emergency preparedness in northern Luzon.

The productive itinerary was marked by a courtesy call to our supportive Schools Division Superintendent, Atty. Donato D. Balderas Jr., who emphasized the vital role of strategic leadership in managing school-line risks, followed by a benchmark visit to 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 to gain firsthand insights into their impressive on-the-ground safety implementations. Recognizing that a resilient team begins with a healthy mind and body, the coordinators also took part in a refreshing coastal walk during their wellness time to recharge and foster camaraderie. This meeting beautifully highlights what can be achieved when brilliant minds collaborate with a shared vision; by reinforcing both our regional networks and our team’s well-being today, we ensure a safer, more adaptive, and deeply resilient 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏 for tomorrow.
