Some of these include \u201cNO to Plastic, YES to Classic\u201d, a campaign on regulating the use of single-use plastic in the campus and encouraging the use of indigenous eating paraphernalia; \u201cProject CARE (Caring Activity for the Restoration of Mother Earth)\u201d, a project that aims to instill the value of caring for the environment by planting fruit-bearing trees and calamansi seedlings using recycled pet bottles as containers; \u201cProject H2O (Hydrate and Habituate Observance of Environmental Protection)\u201d, an advocacy that aims to distribute refillable and reusable water bottles among students; \u201cEco-Warriors\u2019 Creed\u201d, a practice that allows all students to arrange themselves in lines and then walk towards the gates where waste segregation sacks are placed, then the recyclable materials are put at the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) and the organic wastes at the compost pit; and \u201cSchool In a Garden\u201d, a project that enables students to create and maintain school nurseries and vegetables and ornamental gardens in the campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"360\" height=\"270\" src=\"http:\/\/depedilocosnorte.com\/sdoin\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-112\" srcset=\"https:\/\/depedilocosnorte.com\/sdoin\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-6.png 360w, https:\/\/depedilocosnorte.com\/sdoin\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-6-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Besting hundreds of public elementary and secondary schools in the entire province of Ilocos Norte, SNHS was awarded with a plaque of recognition and a cash prize amounting to Php 100,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rizalina.manzano?__tn__=K-R&amp;eid=ARBeCOirm6BrFp9MDeOrVf01TZGdvQOFDwEjn1pOqFMisMfQ1Vb81NCj2n_h6nz9v3Y08c0EBUshvzrd&amp;fref=mentions&amp;__xts__%5B0%5D=68.ARBF7JxPpZzDddKFy0jXRxD-ViGuLWPpkn9v1EVjYvBRdmWKYZqjzzu3SHIouKfy34WBT1v8fk3Gk7_TMS5_M3pBsSw7sglINTDWV4Fe6kpHC5NruvL-virCsKrPcc_KlQcjAyUVl0bL5Yjh-IivwQge8D0c4nmPLBAJIxcc52-dyQp1TUICYSUCHsJNG-A9z1drRx3WAomZKClhBEGcKfjZod27Hf86o0aYw2P6Z6Ov_TZf1dPuz_ok91fVs674agw\">Rizalina T.
